Nephele Technical, Business, & Support Restrictions

The following technical features and services are restricted or unavailable with Nephele:

  • The audit trail and backup storage management is limited to 30 days
  • The only license server instance that you can use is hosted by Agilis as part of Nephele. You may not host the license server, or redistribute the license server to your customers.
  • The fuzzy machine fingerprinting library for complex node locking is unavailable. You may only use the default node locking mechanisms, or provide your own, with the Orion client library.
  • You may only use the Orion client libraries that are available for download on the supported programming languages (including languages that can call out to the supported programming languages) and operating system platforms. The Custom Porting services for porting the Orion C/C++ client library to non-standard platforms (for example embedded system platforms) are unavailable.
  • The ActiveX Orion client library for use with .NET applications is unavailable. You will need to implement your own ActiveX layer over the standard C/C++ Orion client library.
  • Event alerter functionality is limited to basic error / warning rules that can only be emailed to one designated administrator email address, and cannot be customized.
  • You may not adjust settings for background jobs such as backup / cleaner job schedules from their default values configured by Agilis.

By signing up for Nephele, you agree to the following:

  • You represent that your total annual company / business unit revenue, based on your fiscal year accounting methodology, is under US$500m. You agree to notify Agilis and transition to an OEM license agreement with Agilis within 90 days of exceeding this limit.
  • You represent that the revenue bracket you selected is at or above your total annual company / business unit revenue, based on your fiscal year accounting methodology. You agree to notify Agilis and transition up to the correct revenue bracket within 30 days of the effective date of increased annual revenue that puts you on a higher revenue bracket.
  • You agree that Agilis may at its discretion and at any time request an update from you on your annual revenue during the prior fiscal year, and you agree to comply with the request.

The following are the support restrictions that exist when using Nephele:

  • Technical support is limited to the online self-service portal that includes a ticketing system. Phone support is unavailable.
  • There is no guaranteed response time for support requests
